Done properly, not just done
Anyone can make a website live. I won't call one finished until it works effectively, looks great and has the technical foundations to rank well. No rushing, and never a 'that'll do'.
My career didn't start in web design. I spent years in television and film, a long stretch of it at the BBC, where I picked up a deep curiosity for the technology behind how things actually work.
That curiosity pulled me towards digital. I joined Scale My Salon as Commercial Manager and helped launch the PMU Society, which went on to be hugely successful. It's where I really honed my craft across website design, paid ads, automation and SEO - building, testing and refining until I understood what makes a site genuinely perform, not just exist.
Alongside that, I started taking on my own projects from October 2022, digging into the nitty-gritty details that separate a website that works from one that just looks the part. By September 2025 my priorities had shifted and I went fully out on my own - I wanted the time and freedom to perfect the website and SEO side of things, to spend real hours on a build and put properly considered work into it, rather than chasing speed and volume.
